Amamoor Lodge Accommodation

Both accommodation options are warm and homely with that familiar country feel throughout. Accommodation so close to Gympie and the rest of the Sunshine Coast, yet also far enough away for the peace and quiet you are looking for on your weekend away or farmstay holiday.

Traditional B&B

The lodge originally served as the living quarters for workers employed by Amamoor's well known Sanders family, who owned the surrounding 800 acres of land. They were very well respected families in the area and the children of Tom Sanders (Gwyneth, Lynette, Roslyn and Wesley) have returned to the Lodge to restore their childhood memories.  (See photo below)

The lodge accommodation quarters were built about 1930 with local timber milled on the property. In 2003 the building underwent extensive renovations and has been transformed into a sprawling rural accommodation homestead and farmstay with local timbers featuring throughout.

The traditional B&B lodge accommodation comprises of The Callistemon and Banksia suites, which have original timber walls and floors from the old homestead.  The timber was milled on the property and is in beautiful condition.  Each of these have a private ensuite attached. 

The rooms are warm and restful each showcasing traditional attention to detail. The Banksia suite faces south, with Callistemon facing north.  The Grevillea suite faces to the east.

The lodge accommodation provides queen sized rooms with private ensuite.  (One couple per room).
 
The Grevillea suite is elderly/wheelchair/disabled friendly and easily accessible (no steps) and has a large bathroom with grab rails. Two sets of French doors open on to wide verandahs that overlook the pool.  This room sleeps one couple and an extra person if required.  Aboriginal artwork graces the walls in this room.
 
Patchwork bedspreads cover all beds and are handmade by Cynthia.  All suites open on to generous verandahs.

Amamoor Lodge Apartments

Amamoor Lodge Apartments are suitable for those who want their own space and self cater.  We provide the use of the pool and spa area, the chance to wander through the beautiful native gardens and bushwalking on property.  The Apartments are designed for couples who don't require the traditional B&B package.
