Amamoor Lodge AccommodationBoth accommodation options are warm and homely with that familiar country feel throughout. Accommodation so close to Gympie and the rest of the Sunshine Coast, yet also far enough away for the peace and quiet you are looking for on your weekend away or farmstay holiday. Traditional B&B The lodge originally served as the living quarters for workers employed by Amamoor's well known Sanders family, who owned the surrounding 800 acres of land. They were very well respected families in the area and the children of Tom Sanders (Gwyneth, Lynette, Roslyn and Wesley) have returned to the Lodge to restore their childhood memories. (See photo below) The lodge accommodation quarters were built about 1930 with local timber milled on the property. In 2003 the building underwent extensive renovations and has been transformed into a sprawling rural accommodation homestead and farmstay with local timbers featuring throughout. The traditional B&B lodge accommodation comprises of The Callistemon and Banksia suites, which have original timber walls and floors from the old homestead. The timber was milled on the property and is in beautiful condition. Each of these have a private ensuite attached. Amamoor Lodge Apartments Amamoor Lodge Apartments are suitable for those who want their own space and self cater. We provide the use of the pool and spa area, the chance to wander through the beautiful native gardens and bushwalking on property. The Apartments are designed for couples who don't require the traditional B&B package.
